It's baseball season again! YAY! I love it.Walker played his first 2 games on Saturday. We lost the 1st game; won the 2nd. Walker got a technical homerun during the 2nd game! I visited my mother-in-law at the hospital this morning.Not only does she have pneumonia, but she has also contracted a staph infection. Her o2 levels are still not where they would like them to be......but she says that she is feeling better.It looks like she will remain in the hospital for now, possibly another day or two.I ask for continued prayers.

Please pray for my friend Christa's husband, Dwayne. He has received a scary diagnosis of a carcinoid(sp?) tumor of the colon. Yesterday the diagnosis was explained to be not so bad. Unfortunately the doc, after further review, determined that the diagnosis is worse than expected. They were told that the survival rate is 87% over 5 years. Well, today was doctor day for the boys. Walker's 6 year and Wyatt's 6 month check ups. Sadly, they both had to get shots. Wyatt's was no surprise, but Walker's was. I didn't realize that Walker needed an immunization today; I thought his pediatrician's office from Columbia told me he wouldn't need any more for a while. They must have overlooked this one. He'll be getting another one in 6 months.

Ball practice went pretty well last night considering the time. With Tuesday practices not starting until 7:30, it makes for a late night for 5 & 6 year old kids.
